Job Summary:
Lead & Direct Automotive – Industry Vertical Business development activities to meet the organization’s short and long-term business objectives and to grow the revenue and profit of Yusen Logistics India by winning new business from new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level to develop – Auto IV and implement a business development strategy that aligns with the organisation’s overall vision and its current and long-term business objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage the most complex or strategically important business opportunities within Yusen Sales Process along with Corporate BU, RHQ and GHQ team that will contribute to the organisation’s short and long-term business goals.
- Evaluate the findings of Auto Industry via market research in India, assess the viability of alternative opportunities, and present recommendations to Management team.
- Establish high-level, significant relationships with Global Key Customers, Regional Key Accounts, Local Key Customers, key decision-makers, and industry leaders (for example in government or industry associations) to promote the organisation’s products and services.
- Lead the most important, complex, controversial or difficult meetings and negotiations with self-generated Key Auto Customers and support Regional Sales with their potential clients and business partners to pursue business opportunities and protect the organisation’s business interests.
- Implementing business plans with a view to penetrate on New Business Development & expand existing ones in close coordination with cross functional teams
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual Sales Plan with Short term and Long term Customer Pipeline through CRM.
- Keen customer centric approach with skills in addressing client priorities & resolving escalation within TAT, thereby attaining high business & compliance score
