The manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-today operations of the company, will effectively mqanage operations and process associated with sales, claims and accounts and will be reporting to the owners.
Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible for directing, coordinating and growing the Business and identifying new business opportunities by recruiting new intermediaries.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to effectively penetrate new markets and industries.
- Develop a clear strategy for optimum performance while achieving growth targets within the strategic plan and risk appetite set by the Owners.
- To continuously supervise all departments compliance with Risk Management policy and framework.
- To ensure internal deadlines for submission of premium bookings are strictly adhered to.
- Responsible for establishing and strengthening relationships with all customers and intermediaries to ensure customers are provided with efficient service levels at all times.
- Ensuring timely preparation of accurate, informative reports to management for decision-making.
- Fostering and maintenance of good corporate image through liaison with all competitors, intermediaries and the general public and maintain high public relations.
- Conduct market research and intelligence and advise the company and senior management on changes in the insurance market in Italy in terms of rates and products.
- Ensuring that the staff performance management process of KPI is embraced and continuously carried out within the departments for effective and efficient service to ensure profitable and sustainable growth of the Company.
- Managing budgets & operational costs in the course of achieving the Company strategy and set targets.
- Ability to network within the market and recognize the need for change in a continuously changing insurance market.
- Perform any other tasks that may be required of the position. The Company, at its discretion, may deem fit to give additional responsibilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative product and service offerings that meet customer demands.
Requirements:
- License A or B from IVASS
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business or other related study
- 3+ years of experience (preferably in general insurance or MGA area), in particular knowledge of insurance products and processes in B2B and B2C environment.
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-lasting relationships.
- Exceptional negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive to exceed targets and deliver exceptional performance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Very good written and spoken English and Italian it’s a must (verbal & written), other languages are an advantage.
