Parkside Recruitment are currently partnering with a rapidly growing logistics company for the appointment of a Management Accountant.

You will have 3 years experience in a similar position and be eager to progress your career into a fast paced role.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly P&Ls, Balance sheets and reconciliations
• Review and analyse budgets and General Ledger variances
• Lead Overhead reviews and work with Finance teammates on overheads
• Reporting on findings to key staff
• Work with Finance leadership on Ledger positions and KPIs
• Monthly VAT reporting
• Prepare audit file and deal with auditor's requests
• Weekly and monthly Bank recs
• Working with cash management assistant on cash position
• Inter company AR/AP monitoring

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a management accountant's role
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and VAT reporting requirements
• Qualified, part qualified studier or QBE
• Excellent analytical skills
• Background in transactions heavy organisation's, e.g. Logistics/Transport/Freight forwarding
• Advance level of Excel
• Other European GAAP knowledge advantageous
