The following positions typically report directly or indirectly to this position: Manufacturing Technicians, Manufacturing Engineers, Product Change Control Engineers, Manufacturing Project Engineers, 6 Sigma Black Belts. Provides supervisory support to Operations and Product Managers for automated manufacturing systems, manufacturing processes, gaging and checking equipment, tooling and work standards. Works closely with product engineering, marketing, customer services and Operations Managers to ensure common goals in support of product group objectives. Incumbents will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing operation and Product Groups by managing specific technical functions. Supervises Manufacturing Engineering and Support functions for current manufacturing processes, new process justification and implementation, machines, equipment, tooling, work standards, NC programming, gage planning and technical troubleshooting to provide the most efficient and economical manufacturing and assembly of quality products. This will position will prepare the digitization roadmap and implement for machine shop, to improve the asset utilization .
