Job General scope.

The Market Development Manager NA - is responsible for deep Market analysis, product and market segmentation/positioning, business development of new products in new markets, by working in close relation with cross-SBU platforms (Sales, R&D, Manufacturing …), from conception through development, implementation, and launch, with cross functions to all market segment (Aeronautic, Automotives, industries, Sport Leisure, Building & Construction) of Porcher/BGF

This role reports directly to the Global Head of Market Development located in France and locally indirectly to the president of BGF.

Job responsibilities / Mission

• Develop an in-depth understanding of the new target markets and its new sub-segments,

• Understand market trends and proactively manage opportunities (Pipeline) for potential new customers by understanding their needs and activities.

• Identify key customers in the related markets segment and establish strong collaborative relationships -Evaluate potential customers to determine their strategic fit, to later achieve business goals.

• Work closely with key clients and stakeholders in the whole value chain, to identify growth opportunities and innovative projects.

• Stimulate the growth of our various products line across NA through proposals for marketing actions.

• Identify and analyse targeted markets through value proposition for new opportunity - Take ownership for the development for targeted markets.

• Identify gaps in our current capabilities and develop action plans to address them.

• Ensure that our solutions complies with environmental standards and any other regulatory requirements in NA..

• Market analysis (SWOT) and Monitoring - Recommend strategies and actions to maintain leadership in existing markets.

Qualification requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree- Marketing with technical background
• Minimum 3 years' experiences with strong or natural skills in market analysis, positioning strategy and prospective approach.
• A keen sense of business development, including, value chain analysis, competitive analysis, value proposition definition, marketing positioning and financial modelling.
• Expertise in the aeronautics industry, and / or Automotive and related materials is a plus. With curiosity for technique and materials.
• Strong team player in an international environment - Good verbal and written communication skills - Friendly user of Microsoft tool, including presentation, Reporting.
• Frequent Travel up to 40% in NA
