The job holder would lead marketing and strategic activities in the country to achieve short term, medium to long term goals.. He/she should ensure development and alignment of strategy across cross functional teams, successful product launches to achieve potential of NPL's, customer campaigns implementation, market communication (incl digital marketing) and crop strategy implementation to build growth plans, in line with overall company strategy.
Major tasks:
- Responsible for the achievement of country sales and market share targets,
- Accountable for country marketing budget
- Responsible for pricing, demand forecasting & budgeting processes in the country
- Identify growth opportunities based on deep customer pain points / market insights for mid-long term growth (including Bio-solutions and AgTech).
- Accountable for crop strategy & its alignment, along with implementation of campaigns
- Develop Product, Regional and Local Communication initiatives, Trade Mark management and all customer focused key initiatives
- Initiating, negotiating, closing and securing of co-development and distribution deals with strategic partners /key suppliers
- Coordinate operational working and communication flow with key suppliers regarding product strategy and product launches.
- Drive the marketing planning and business development for key products
- Provide strategic marketing guidance to R&D strategy
- Drive, manage and support the implementation of all strategic marketing initiatives in the area of segmentation, Key Account Management, POS leadership, Value Chain approach
Requirements:
- Relevant agricultural degree
- Exőerience in plant protection business
- 5+ years of experience in a Commercial / R&D / Marketing management role. (Ideally would have cross functional experience.)
- Broad knowledge of agrochemical business with good industry credibility and value change expertise. Experience in maintaining relationships with and acquiring new products from strategic partners.
- Solid analytical skills and solution-driven thinking; you utilize a combination of business intelligence data, intuition, and experience in the development of impactful business growth initiatives.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Hungarian and English.
