For a luxury boutique hotel located on the Amalfi Coast, we are looking for a
Marketing Manager
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing the property-level marketing strategy with the objective of increasing brand awareness, driving direct business, maximizing revenue opportunities and strengthening the hotel's positioning within the luxury hospitality market.
Reporting directly to the Ownership, this role works closely with Sales, Revenue Management and Reservations teams to develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with the hotel's commercial objectives.
Core responsibilities:
• Develops, implements, monitors and evaluates the hotel's annual marketing plan, ensuring alignment with business goals and market opportunities.
• Defines and executes strategic marketing initiatives aimed at increasing brand visibility, direct bookings, guest engagement and market share.
• Manages all aspects of the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment (ROI).
• Oversees the planning, execution and performance analysis of all marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
• Acts as brand guardian, ensuring consistency of brand identity, visual standards and messaging across all guest touchpoints.
• Leads the development of marketing assets including collateral materials, photoshoots, video productions, website content and promotional materials.
• Manages CRM activities and guest database strategies, developing targeted communication plans, loyalty initiatives and personalized campaigns to increase guest retention and lifetime value.
• Utilizes CRM and marketing automation platforms to segment audiences, analyze customer behaviour and optimize communication effectiveness.
• Analyzes campaign performance, website traffic, CRM data and commercial results, providing regular reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Measures and communicates the success of marketing initiatives through relevant KPIs and performance reporting tools.
• Coordinates relationships with external agencies, media partners, content creators and suppliers, ensuring quality, consistency and budget compliance.
• Oversees social media strategy, content planning and digital presence to strengthen brand awareness and engagement.
• Plans and coordinates promotional activities, events, partnerships, trade shows and industry initiatives aimed at increasing the visibility of the hotel in key target markets.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Marketing Manager position within luxury hospitality
• Proven experience in developing and managing strategic Marketing Plans and annual marketing budgets.
• Strong knowledge of CRM systems, customer journey management and marketing automation tools.
• Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, performance analysis and ROI measurement.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret commercial data and transform insights into actionable strategies.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent English and Italian, both written and spoken. Additional languages will be considered a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strategic and results-oriented mindset.
