For a luxury resort in Tuscany, we are looking for a
Marketing Manager
The Marketing Manager is part of an important team that creates and executes property-level communications to our customers. Under the leadership of the Director of Marketing and Communication, this role promotes on-brand messaging to customers through traditional, digital, and social media channels all with the goal of enhancing the image of the hotel. This role helps build direct marketing plans, targeted campaigns, and activated channels to the end of driving consumer awareness and preference, increasing market share, and building broader portfolio and brand awareness.
Core responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, monitors and evaluates the hotel’s marketing communications strategy, including advertising, promotions, social media, graphics and collateral, so as to support the overall vision and objectives for the hotel
- Responsible for all aspects of the implementation of the marketing plan (event logistics, collateral, online & offline communication), with a strong focus on ROI
- Support the Director of Marketing and Communications in managing the agreed marketing budget to enable development of property specific campaigns
- Acting as brand guardian and ensuring all hotel branding and collateral are of a consistent high standards and comply brand standards, or other agreed design
- Works closely with Sales & Revenue Management team to identify opportunities and trends and develop relevant on & offline strategies
- Leads, owns, and directs asset development, including hotel collateral, photoshoots (sourcing, planning, on-site execution, post-editing, and distribution), etc
- Runs, reviews, analyzes, and clearly articulates to stakeholders’ key reports and adjust strategy accordingly
- Measures and communicates success of campaigns and digital performance using relevant reports tools
- Acts as the liaison between the marketing department and advertising agency on the tactical advertising campaigns' creative and media plans
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics or marketing
- At least 4 years of previous experience in luxury hotel industry, preferably from international groups
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Power Point
- Fluent English (written and spoken) and Italian (written and spoken), knowledge of other languages will be considered a plus
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal skills and communications skills
- Problem solving and planning skills
