Job Purpose:
Responsible to deliver high-quality and timely marketing input, and implement strategies, tactical and operational plans/projects in order to maximize the value of the brand(s) throughout its life cycle, in order to ensure the long-term presence of products portfolio in the Dermatology / Cosmeceuticals market in accordance with the company strategic goals, by identifying the most effective market segments to promote products and the most promising targets to achieve.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Drive the assessment of internal and external Dermatology environment and implications to company’s portfolio, and drive the business growth along with products lifecycle management.
- Oversee the formulation of marketing strategies and programs to achieve sales, margins and market share objectives within budgets.
- Implement marketing strategies plan timely with high quality and professionalism.
- Forecast product requirements, identify potential supply issues, and develop contingency plans.
- Develop marketing team members in a way to unlock their potential and prepare pipeline of talents within the marketing team.
- Set in coordination with the sales/promotion/commercial team the marketing strategies for different products and agree on a mechanism to monitor actions and activities.
- Initiate market research studies and analyze their findings whenever appropriate.
- Lead development and implementation of the Marketing plans/projects/strategies to ensure the alignment with company’s overall objectives and business strategies.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of Marketing function by facilitating related professional work processes in order to yield quality outputs.
- Materialize the Marketing derma unit budget and ensures that the activities are implemented and processed based on the assigned figures.
- Ensures functional objectives are fulfilled by setting individual targets, KPIs’, developing and motivating staff in order to optimize team performance.
- For new products, ensure successful prelaunch and launch plans, established and executed via working with sales/promotion/commercial team.
- Direct the conceptualization, development, and enhancement of new and existing products, including the development of business cases for presentation to Management, to ensure the company’s products and portfolios maintain their competitiveness.
- Define and ensure adherence to marketing, advertising and communication standards and guidelines.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure that demand plans are in place.
- Maintain finger on pulse on the performance of company’s portfolio and ringing the bell should any risks identified to potentially impact the business.
- Analyze dynamics of both internal and external environments to be proactive in suggesting insights and recommendation on how to outperform defined growth rates.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree of Pharmaceutical or a related field.
- From 8 up to 10 years of related Job Function/Industry experience.
- From 1-2 years' demonstrable Marketing Leadership/Management Experience/Exposure.
- Experience in Dermatology / Cosmeceuticals is a plus.
