They are developing several demonstrators combining complex optics and mechanics together with electrical & electronic parts with SW embedded. These demonstrators are a first step of future “products for end users”, targeting to work closely with major companies across the world: USA, Japan, Korea, China, India, and Europe.
They are based in Spain with its headquarters in Madrid and main technical facility at the campus of University La Laguna in Tenerife.
THE POSITION
My client is looking for a diligent, persevering, and experienced PR & Marketing Lead to be located in Madrid.
The Marketing Manager will be part of the Madrid Team of the company and will work directly with the two co-founders, and with the Business Development Manager (based in San Francisco).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas.
- Determines customers’ needs by specifying the research to obtain market information.
- Prepares return-on-investment analyses, establishing time schedules with departments.
- Bring new product recommendations by analysing proposed product requirements and product development programs
- Lead the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing and communication campaigns and help develop marketing plan for the 3 business lines
- Create content for scientific marketing collateral
- Understand and interpret scientific content that is clear across multiple disciplines
- Coordinate planning, promotion, and execution of webinars
- Review website analytics and trends with and create strategy to increase traffic to service pages
- Manage scientific conference marketing presence and team attendance/logistics
- Assesses market competition by comparing the company’s product to competitors’ products.
- Provides source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
- Assesses product market data by calling on customers with field salespeople and evaluating sales call results.
- Help to Provide information to management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts, special reports and analyses.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 4 - 5 years of direct experience in marketing field, preferred in a research or technology product company.
- Bachelors/Masters in Marketing, or Business Administration or Economics or any Engineering carreer .
- Proficiency in both Spanish and English

- 1º year à 40K
- 2º yearà 44K
- 3º yearà 44K + bonus
Flexible time schedule (8 hours) with the possibility of remote.
