Key Responsibilities:
- Drive long-term growth in the MENA region by developing and managing the brand portfolio in alignment with company strategy, KPIs, and roadmap.
- Lead a team of senior and brand managers to achieve profitable growth for the assigned brands and categories.
- Collaborate with CU – Affiliate marketing teams in MENA to foster category thinking and deployment.
- Coach and develop the marketing team, leading cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
Leadership:
- Communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure understanding of in-market performance and marketing strategies.
- Actively lead and participate in cross-functional teams for effective operational management and growth of sub-brands.
Strategy & Product Development:
- Develop and refine category/sub-brand strategy within a 1-3 year horizon in line with overall company objectives.
- Create annual Marketing & Communication Plan, gaining approval from the Executive Team.
- Identify market challenges, opportunities, segment focus, and product portfolio.
- Define portfolio architecture, assortment strategy, and collaborate with global/regional teams for pipeline development.
Communication Development & Digital:
- Execute integrated 360 communication campaigns aligned with key objectives.
- Lead the development of communication assets for key innovations and claims.
- Drive digital transformation, overseeing development and execution of digital brand campaigns.
Financial Management:
- Ensure achievement of key financial and marketing KPIs.
- Manage margins effectively, developing pricing strategies for competitiveness and premium positioning.
- Contribute to budget allocation for brands and campaigns, maximizing overall budget impact.
Sales & Operation Planning:
- Develop accurate forecasts with Sales and Demand teams, leading discussions in monthly Exec S&OP meetings.
- Support NPD forecasting accuracy and ensure alignment with strategy and key events.
- Approve Sales briefings and ensure cross-functional understanding and planning.
Budgeting, Resource Management & Analytics:
- Achieve 100% accuracy in marketing budget targets and key KPIs.
- Plan resources for project execution and define success metrics, analyzing campaign results for performance optimization.
Experience required:
- Over a decade of brand management expertise in the FMCG industry.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Marketing Manager in the MENA region, demonstrating leadership in team management.
- Preferably experienced in Beauty and Skin Care categories and brands.
- Demonstrated success with a winning mindset, evidenced by consistent outperformance throughout the professional journey.
Education & Qualifications:
- University degree with Honors; Master's degree is an additional advantage.
Languages:
- Proficient in English and Arabic
- French is an advantage
