Our client, one of the leading distributors of Wines & Spirits is looking to hire a Marketing Manager – Wines Portfolio, based in Dubai, Budget USD 7K – 9K. To Expedite, share CV at [email protected]

Note: Current experience in a Wine Portfolio is a must.

Education & Experience:

• 5 - 8 years substantial operational and marketing experience.
• WSET Advanced. Formal wine training/experience required.
• He / she should possess a business qualification, preferably in marketing from a reputed institute.
• Background in a reputed drinks company in marketing is a must and should have experience of brand management.

Responsibility:

1. Deliver Marketing Strategy for On Trade & off Trade and Retail customers in UAE.
2. Develop appropriate marketing strategies for these market segments and work closely with the Wine and Sales teams to implement these strategies.
3. Complete brand plans for all major brands within the Wine category in line with the agreed service standards.
4. Manage the administrative interfaces with the allocated Wine Brand owners on a day-to-day basis. Coordinate all the Brand owner visits to the Region.
5. Prepare market analysis reports for all categories to be given to Brand owners as per the agreed time frame.
6. Monitor the effective implementation of the Wine Category strategy through regular market audits and analysis of market information and prepare and implement corrective actions plans to be taken.
7. Prepare annual promotional calendar for core brands/agencies and develop the planned promotional activities.
8. In conjunction with the Sales Team, organise Wine Tastings and other related wine promotional events.
9. Provide Market and Sales analysis for the Wine Category.
10. Carry out monthly audits of the retail shops against the merchandising standards defined.
11. Liaise with the advertising agencies / printers for any locally required support material.
12. Exercise full control over the purchasing and stock control of all the Category related Point of Sale material and assist the Group Category Manager with budgetary controls.
13. Represent the company at company and sponsored events as and when required.
