Marketing UX Designer

The team you will join
The Marketing team is looking for a passionate UX designer with strong emphasis on UI to help improve the overall user experience, interfaces, and web design across the company’s websites ) and design impactful web experiences.
As a UX Designer in the Marketing Team, you will have the power to maximize the impact of our Marketing content and contribute to the User Experience of world-known product’s websites. You will get to work in modern UX/UI & Design principles (Design System, Atomic Design, Design thinking, etc…) and tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, VWO, etc. You will design impactful stories from the ground up by working with your marketing peers, and also grow through cross-team interactions.
The area you will focus on is to:
- Create web designs that convey the value propositions defined by the product marketing team, with the goal to make their stories even more impactful to the audience
- Create and maintain great website UX through intuitive, usable, and engaging user interfaces
- Dive deep into the UX metrics to find meaningful insights (blocking path, bounce, click rate) and based on the results, propose impactful UX improvements
- Build user interface based on our UX principles and branding guidelines by producing wireframes, mockups, prototypes, specs, and web assets
- Maintain the UI and UX principles of the SonarSource Design System and improve it collaboratively with the other members of the team
- Partnering with other designers and developers to deploy best-in-class web design and user experiences on our websites
- Participate in Agile Sprints to deliver within a timebox together with our web developers
The skills you will demonstrate
- 3+ years experience in UX Design
- Passionate about UX Design & UI Architecture
- Ability to create interfaces that tell a story and transform complex concepts into simple designs
- Deep understanding of UX design principles and Design System methodologies
- Experienced Figma user
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Confident enough to challenge the status quo as well as receive feedback
- An open-minded and positive can-do attitude
- Fluent English both written and spoken
Office location
This position is based in our office in Austin, TX.
Candidates to be considered must be located near an office or open to relocating prior to starting.
