Title: MBSE Development / Embedded Systems Engineer

Department:  Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

Experience - 6- 10 Years in model-based system engineering.

Location: Chennai

Qualification - B.E / B-Tech / M.E / M-Tech 

Skills Required:

• Experience in MATLAB/Simulink/dSPACE
• Strong knowledge in Powertrain systems and Electrification systems.

Responsibilities:

• Take complete ownership of a features of Electrical Vehicle Software Development.
• Review and update Software requirement, establish traceability from requirements to software to testcases.
• Understand the Change Request and update the software (model/code) as per requirement changes.
• Work hand in hand with the global feature owners to make a co-ordinated change in the software.
• Understand and prioritize the criticality of software change based on the production gateway/milestone.
• Follow the change management process to integrate the software changes into software builds.
• Validate the software compliance against Run time error and MISRA-C guidelines.
• Prepare the developer test plan and develop test cases to the test the software under change (MIL/SIL).
• Perform regression testing to understand the induced side effects of the software change (MIL/SIL).
• Integrate software with hardware layer, build the package and perform PIL test
  Debug and fix the software in case of any issues found during testing.
• Maintain the daily work products in version control system like SVN, GIT or ClearCase.
• Support in Peer review of work products from team members.
• Update the weekly project progress status to process champions.
• Mentor and motivate the team members to work as one team towards one goal.
