We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Medical Director/Chief Medical Officer to join our healthcare organization. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding the medical and clinical strategies of the organization, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and operational excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement healthcare programs, policies, and initiatives that promote quality improvement, preventive care, and employee wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the organization's medical vision, strategies, and objectives, aligning them with the overall mission and goals.
- Clinical Excellence: Provide strategic medical leadership to drive clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and innovative healthcare solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the overall quality of medical services, adhering to laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Policy Development: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that enhance quality improvement and operational efficiency.
- Representation: Represent the organization in industry forums, conferences, and collaborations, contributing to thought leadership and shaping the future of healthcare.
- Operational Management: Oversee and manage medical and clinical operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and ethical practices.
- Policy Implementation: Develop and implement comprehensive policies and procedures related to medical care tailored to meet organizational needs.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Coordinate and collaborate with other departments, providing medical advice and consultation to executives and stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous quality improvement, monitor key performance indicators, and implement initiatives to optimize healthcare delivery.
- Team Leadership: Lead interdisciplinary teams, encouraging collaboration, communication, and knowledge sharing among medical professionals and staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Medical Degree with a valid license to practice medicine.
- 10+ years of experience in a medical or healthcare setting, with at least 5 years in a managerial or administrative role.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing strategic initiatives, driving organizational growth, and improving patient outcomes.
- Proficiency in international medical laws and regulations, with a commitment to staying updated with the latest medical advancements.
- Experience in developing and implementing procedures related to medical care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of healthcare economics, including budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation.
- Proficiency in strategic planning, risk management, and crisis response in healthcare settings.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in healthcare management, public health, or a related field (e.g., MBA or MHA).
- Expertise in healthcare technology, digital transformation, and data analytics to drive innovation and improve clinical processes.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and legal requirements.
- Ability to navigate complex business relationships and multiple stakeholders.
Criteria:
- The candidate must possess a degree in medicine and a Master’s level degree in healthcare management or a related field (preferred).
- The candidate should hold a current state-issued license to practice medicine.
