For FMCG non-food International Company we are looking for a Method Development Scientist

Activities:

• Develop and validate methods. Define and execute test protocols and produce validation/development reports.
• Develop and recommend testing/sensing methods, designs and/or design improvements. Coordinate activities/tasks of technicians or less experienced professionals and contractors.
• Develop work plan of projects, schedule & estimates, and follow planning related to his/her projects plans, including deadlines and resource requirements.
• Perform his/her duties in accordance with the quality management system, ISO 17025 standards and the respective procedures.

Requirements:

• PhD or Master University degree in material science/physics or related field
• Experience in method development, validation and statistical analysis
• Experience in line manufacturing measurement methods and related technologies
• Solid theoretical and practical knowledge in physical chemistry with in-depth knowledge in spectroscopy technologies (such as IR, NMR, UV, MS)
• Laser technologies for measurement of particles
• Technologies to measure strengths
• Calorimetry to measure heat, thermocouple technology to measure temperature
• Technologies to measure electric conductance
• Imaging technology: CT (computerized tomography)-Scan; X-ray
• Applied knowledge in multivariate analysis of spectral data (e.g., PCA, PLS)
• 5 years’ experience in a similar position
• Fluency in English, both oral and written
