Role details:
- Title / Role: Director – Microsoft Alliances, US
- Role type: Individual contributor to start with; to lead a team later
- Location: Anywhere in the US
Role & responsibilities:
- Building and managing the relationship with Microsoft leadership and sales teams in key markets
- Meeting existing and potential customers to showcase the relationship with Microsoft as well as capabilities with the Microsoft portfolio
- Gathering customer problems from key markets and give the feedback to technical teams to create relevant offerings
- Working closely with Microsoft teams to closely execute and govern joint business plans
- Driving incremental revenue and meeting revenue goals set for the year
- Securing buy-in of Microsoft technology within organization practices, presales, and sales to enhance proactive pipeline
- Increasing company visibility in partner ecosystems- events, conferences, social media
Candidate requirements:
- Understanding of the US market along with deep understanding of Microsoft portfolio
- Self-starter with quick learning ability and efficient relationship building skills
- Multi-tasking and ability to work under stringent deadlines
- Flexibility to operate in multiple time zones and ability to handle frequent travel
- Technology Degree along with MBA
