This is a new role in an international industrial raw materials producer and chemical distributor with a stable presence in Romania.  The aim of this role is to replace (in 1-max2 years) the current mining manager.

Key responsibilities 

• Up keeping of mining rights in his area,

• Confirm the mining activities according to country law and regulations

• Follow up of permissions and legal issues related with his area of mining (mining licenses and permits)

• Realize mining activities under the mine development plan guidelines, creating mine plans and communication with external consultants for mine design

• Organize the production according to the budget
• Realize and fulfil QSHE needs for mine and plant together
• Realize and perform maintenance activities
• Report mining activities
• Apply continues improvement tracking
• Investigate operational savings in area of responsibility
• Training of his staff to fulfil the needs
• Salaries and benefits of members of his staff
• Coordinate a team of 5-6 subordinates
• Propose investment plans for new capacities and improvements
• Management of contractors and suppliers

Key requirements

* Open to relocate in west of Romania / or to stay in the company accomodation with travel to/from home over the weekends !

* Required minimum 3-4 years of experience

* Professional exam - license

* Driving license B category

* University in Mining Engineering

* To have practical knowledge in using AutoCAD-u and to be open to learn SURPAC software which we will implement soon

* Good English
