Key Responsibilities

• Devise and maintain advanced automated test suites for Android and iOS apps using tools like Appium, Espresso, and XCUITest.

• Formulate detailed, structured test plans and cases in line with software requirements and technical design documents.

• Record all aspects of the QA process, compiling exhaustive test reports and documenting evidence to substantiate the testing conducted.

• Manage defects and document test progress using JIRA, maintaining a comprehensive overview of testing activities.

• Assess and validate mobile implementations against design prototypes in Figma to ensure accuracy and quality.

• Actively participate in Agile development practices, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other related ceremonies.

• Liaise with product managers and developers to deeply understand product features, ensuring test automation aligns with user needs and technical specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.

• 3-5 years of intensive experience in mobile application testing with a strong emphasis on automated testing.

• Proficiency in mobile test automation tools like Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.

• Deep familiarity with native and Flutter development environments, capable of identifying and addressing issues.

• Expertise in using JIRA for issue tracking and agile project management.

• Experience with design validation using tools such as Figma.

• A thorough grasp of Agile methodologies and a history of working in an Agile environment.

• Superior communication abilities with proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

You will report directly to the Engineering Manager, who oversees the technical aspects of product development.
