We have partnered with a global leader within consumer and home electronics. This is a fantastic opportunity to join their Air Solutions Team as National Heating Sales Manager. You MUST have experience within this field and have the national sales experience required.
The Air Solutions Team is responsible for helping to develop and grow the UK Air Conditioning business in line with the company strategies and objectives. As National Heating Sales Manager you will manage a team of Sales Account Managers and Service Engineers, and be responsible for developing the sales strategy, as well as be partly responsible in training activities and marketing strategy. You will drive sales of the air to water heat pump products, including AWHP and renewables. You will manage the existing distribution sales channels & develop their sales performance.

Your Role & Responsibilities
Identify and create new sales opportunities with both existing and new customers, with a view of achieving agreed set volume targets
To maintain and service sales agreements with targeted customers and to achieve set and agreed KPIs
Prepare project design, specification and quotations using their brand equipment in support of the sales team
Execute sales strategy as discussed and agreed with the General Manager
Provide effective and detailed reporting of all sales and business development activities
To promote the company brand through regular and set presentations to customers as required
Deliver CPD Seminar presentations to identified specifiers in the market place
To liaise with other departments for cross business opportunities, to resolve payment disputes, to assist in new product introduction and end of life management to optimise levels of inventory
Skills, Education & Experience
Solid experience in the Heating Heat Pump market, preferably gained from a reputable manufacturer. Engineering or other relevant technical based qualifications are desirable
Proven effective leadership and management skills
Good understanding of all relevant legislations and government grants
Has great technical and product awareness, including product development and business planning
Knowledge of heating route to market, B2B and B2B2C, plumbing and heating industry, and specialist renewable distribution
Understanding of systems and B2B sales influence chains
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good networking skills and abilities
Experience of working within a performance management environment -
KPIs and Service Level Agreements
Highly focused and capable of sustaining a fast pace in a dynamic
environment
Able to constructively challenge and improve existing practice
Completer finisher, able to be resilient to drive issues through to a successful
customer-focused solution
Good judgement, able to make practical and realistic decisions within scope of responsibility
Proven commercial acumen and ability to achieve commercial objectives
Proficient in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel
