National Key Account Manager – Intensive Care
We are looking for a National Key Account Manager who will be responsible to ensure effective brand-building activities, to exceed sales and market share targets and to support customer needs in allocated area.
Key Account Manager position in a company part of a distribution group currently ranking among top 3 distributors in advanced medical device sector in Romania.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the market, competitors and sales opportunities
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines
- Manage daily product sales and support to our partners and customers
- Based on a deep understanding of the target segment, develop sales growth strategy delivering on existing and future customer needs, and aligned with the company strategy
- Work effectively with other sales and product development professionals in their company
- Lead demand-generating marketing activities in the assigned segment for the assigned product specialty.
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
Accountabilities and performance measures
- Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards
- Achieves assigned product sales quota
- Supports initiatives that ensure product profitability
- Achieves product growth targets in the assigned geography or account base
Organizational alignment
- Reports to the Business Unit Manager
- Works closely with Customer Service Representative in order to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
Job requirements and working conditions
- This position includes outside travel to customers’ premises
- Driving license B category is mandatory
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 up to 6 years of sales & marketing experience with proven track record of achievements gained in leading healthcare companies, business to business or other consultative sales segment
- 3 years experienece in Medical Devices is mandatory
- University degree (BA and/or MSc) in Biomedical Engineering, Business, Marketing, Science or similar.
- Advanced user in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Power Point;
- Fluent in English- both verbal & written
- The ability to simplify complex ideas and write them clearly and concisely
