Job Brief :
You are expected to use your high-level sales expertise to develop and drive effective company sales strategies. A key element in this role is conducting research in market trends and behaviors to inform and guide the company’s sales efforts. Success in this role is demonstrated by meeting sales targets and maintaining a strong presence in chosen market segments.
Job Responsibilities :
- Plan, direct and control the sales business strategies and activities of the sales group to achieve team sales target, FF ranking target and market share targets.
- Direct the activities of the team’s sales group for the achievement of short- and long-term business objectives.
- Establish and co-ordinate the team’s sales objectives, policies and programs within the context of the overall strategic plan and, where appropriate, recommend standards and set targets.
- Prepare the team’s sales budgets and ensure they are presented in a timely manner to the GM.
- Work closely with Product managers and Head of Marketing to ensure building and execution of marketing strategy.
- Appraise the activities of First Line Managers (FLMs) according to overall sales strategies. Monitor and evaluate the performance and the efficiency of (FLMs) and procedures in line with the company principles.
- Co-ordinate with FLMs to optimize the use of human and material resources to achieve goals.
- Direct team’s sales activities by setting promotional mix and geographical sales areas.
- Direct and monitor sales methods and key customer strategies which are appropriate to each territory.
- Direct the development of initiatives such as incentive bonus schemes for Distributors.
- Achieve the team’s QTQ targets and strive towards FF ranking of #1.
- Ensure all the activities of the team’s sales group comply with ethical standards.
- Represent the company in a highly professional manner consistent with the company Corporation values.
Job Requirements:
- A degree in Pharmacy or Vet Medicine.
- Total years of experience: Minimum (10) years of experience in Pharma field.
- Sales Management Experience: Minimum (3) years of experience.
- Experience with Cardio-metabolic Disease area is an added value
- Successful sales track record for both established products and newly launched products in a reputable pharmaceutical company
