Our client, a Romanian company, a joinery manufacturer specialized in providing high-quality, high-performance and sustainable heat-insulating solutions, present on the French and Italian market for over 10 years, is looking for a:
National Sales Manager
Description:
National Sales Manager passionate and results-oriented to coordinate and develop a team of internal and external sales agents, with the aim of growing both on the internal B2B and B2C market, as well as on the B2B export markets in France, Belgium, Italy, Ireland, Germany and the USA. The role involves strategic and operational leadership of the team, setting sales goals, developing new markets (Netherlands, Canada) and relationships with key customers, optimizing processes to ensure continuous sales growth.
Responsibilities:
Strategic planning:
- Developing and implementing a short and long-term sales strategy, taking into account the specifics of export markets and B2B customer needs;
- Building and maintaining relationships with key partners in their respective markets, understanding their needs and ensuring that the solutions offered are appropriate;
- Defining and communicating sales goals for the team, with a focus on reaching and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets;
- Tracking and analyzing competitors' activities and market trends, adapting the strategy accordingly.
Team Management:
- Effective leadership and management of the sales agent team, including recruitment, training, performance appraisal, and professional development;
- Defining and communicating sales goals for the team, with a focus on reaching and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets;
- Identify and implement efficient processes for sales management, performance data reporting and KPI monitoring;
- Inspiring and motivating the sales team to achieve exceptional performance, developing their skills and competencies through continuous coaching and training;
- Generate regular reports on the performance of the team and export markets, providing analysis and recommendations for improving results;
- Working closely with other departments, such as marketing and logistics, to ensure alignment of strategies and workflows.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in sales, in export positions on international markets;
- Previous experience in managing a sales team of over 5 people;
- Knowledge of export markets, especially France, Belgium, Italy, Ireland, Germany and the USA, is an advantage;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- Goal-oriented, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment and under pressure;
- Strategic planning and analysis skills;
- Advanced knowledge of English and, preferably, basic knowledge of French, German or other European languages;
