We are looking for a highly motivated, fully dedicated Sales Manager, to lead and to be responsible for development of the Premium Alcoholic Beverage Brand with the main focus for off-trade sales in Germany.
Sales Manager Germany (m/f/x)
Permanent Region: GERMANY Based: Berlin, Hamburg or Munich (desirable)
Main responsibilities:
• Development of sales strategy, growing brand visibility, volume and profitability in off-trade and on-trade channels
• Regular field visits to off-trade and on-trade, negotiations with HoReCa accounts
• Participate in pricing and discounts management, target setting, profitability planning
• Building and maintain good relationship with key partners/customers
• Coordination of the communication between distributors, partners, clients and a head office,
• Manage the customers within the Region, lead in customer meetings and negotiations
• Active search and identification of new business partners/customers
• Lead annual and operational sales business planning
• Participation in preparation of annual Brand/Marketing plans for the customers
• Implementation of global marketing campaigns, owning responsibility delivering all marketing programs in accordance Brand Guide lines, initiating and managing events
• Control and coordination of all other key marketing activities within the area (exhibitions, on-trade POSM development and distribution, other image projects)
• Development and implement on/off-trade incentive programs, promo-activations and branding projects in the key accounts within the area implementation and control of all marketing activations in all channels
• Creation of all local reporting, quarterly marketing reports, monthly sales reports with practical insights, 1/2 yr review, FY sales planning and funds contribution, control of fulfillment to agreed
• Responsibility for customers’ payment control
• Manage customers' contracts and agreements and handle other legal issues
Main requirements:
• Higher education, preferably in Economics or Marketing
• Fluent German and English
• Work experience in international sales of Alcohol or premium FMCG products not less than 3-5 years
• Excellent knowledge of sales operations in all channels including OFF-trade, national chains and on-trade im Germany
• Strong understanding in marketing/trade marketing area
• Ability and willingness to frequent business trips with zone of responsibility
• Fluent German language as well as excellent verbal and written English is a must
• Perfect networking and analytical skills
• Ability to learn and work in changing & dynamic environment
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
