Job Responsibilities
Establishing annual plan for sales and expenses while monitoring and controlling resources and sales activities effectively to achieve the plan. Developing and monitoring the implementation of plans with the aim of achieving the pre-set targets as well as promoting pharmaceutical products’ sales by developing and maintaining long term relationships with clients.
- Supervising the implementation of the Egypt Sales function plans.
- Developing the Egypt Sales function’s work plan; assigning work activities, projects and programs, monitoring work flow, reviewing and evaluating work methods and procedures, and directing such activities to serve the Department's goals and plans
- Proposing plans and programs that boost the effectiveness of the Egypt Sales function
- Ensuring that work activities are carried out achieving the pre-set performance goals, and suggesting any necessary actions to the direct supervisor
- Developing annual plan for sales, resources, expenses and organization to meet corporate growth and competitive objectives
- Overseeing sales activities, providing support to sales teams, as well as directing the teams efforts to be in line with the company strategic goals and set targets
- Tracking and monitoring sales and expenses while recommending sales-specific measures and techniques that minimize expenses
- Developing and monitoring the implementation of sales work plans with the aim of achieving the pre-set sales targets while coaching and managing sales teams
- Promoting pharmaceutical products’ sales by developing and maintaining long term relationships at all levels with doctors, medical professionals and other clients
- Participating in organizing the launch of new products and their promotions
- Providing support in deals preparation as well as negotiating prices with clients
- Overseeing draw-backs and clients’ objections related to company's products while communicating such issues to the Marketing function
- Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct manager.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
- 10 to 15 years of experience in Sales (Pharmaceutical field), of which at least 5 years in a managerial position at a pharmaceutical firm
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Ability to interact effectively with Senior Executives, sales supervisors, staff, etc..
- Deep expertise in data analysis and in building successful strategies using data driven analysis that drive business results
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
- Strong network with clients working in the Pharmaceutical Business.
