- As a national sales manager, individual will lead Business Development function and ensure capability building across levels for the vertical in India.
- Someone who has an existing relationship with Group Schools
- Must have managed annual sales budgets and collections comparable in scale to verticals India budgets.
- People Leader & Collaboration Skill – it’s a team lead role that demands managing Regional Managers.
- Someone who has business acumen and is a futuristic strategic thinker.
- Very strong business management skills – the ability to orchestrate a business model.
- Should have sales management experience in Education Market in India at a senior level.
- Experience working in a matrix organization and a track record of fuelling business growth will be an advantage.
- Should have an ability to lead and manage sales with sound business acumen and problem-solving abilities
- Positive thinker and can work on deadlines
- Should possess excellent written and verbal communication with good team management skills.
- Lead nationwide School BD Team members to achieve sales targets
- Perform research and identify new potential schools and new market opportunities.
- Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency.
- Keep abreast of new product launches and ensure BD team members are on board.
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the BD department.
- Creation and execution of business development plan and strategy
- Accountability of overall top-line, bottom-line, revenue generation and cost of sales for the business
- Collaborate closely with different colleagues within the organisation to add value and services to the customers.
- Have in-depth product and solutions knowledge across the organisation
- Products & services to these customers, evaluate the best fits and pitch relevant product offerings.
- Ensure that the sales team devises effective BD plans and helps them execute those efficiently for maximum traction.
