National Sales Leader – Water & Process Solutions (Pharma & Life Sciences)
Reporting to: CEO | Member of Top Management Committee
A market-leading engineering solutions organization in the pharmaceutical & life sciences water treatment space is looking to onboard a National Sales Leader to spearhead its next phase of aggressive growth. This is a board-critical role with full P&L ownership across multiple business verticals.
???? The Opportunity
You will lead the national sales charter across Capital Projects (CapEx), Lifecycle Services (OpEx), and Process Solutions, driving scale from an established ₹250+ crore business to ₹500 crore over the next three years. The role demands strategic depth, strong industry relationships, and the ability to build a future-ready sales organization.
???? Key Responsibilities
- Lead and scale a national sales team (15–20 members) across regions and verticals
- Own revenue growth across CapEx, OpEx, and Process businesses, with a strong focus on expanding the Process portfolio
- Drive large-ticket deals (₹10–20 crore) and overall business responsibility of ₹100–200 crore+
- Define and execute go-to-market strategies for tier 1, 2 & 3 pharma clusters
- Strengthen consultative, solution-led selling and long-term customer partnerships
- Institutionalize sales governance, pipeline discipline, and review mechanisms
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and contribute to enterprise strategy
- Support export business growth while maintaining strong domestic market leadership
- Champion digital-first selling and technology-enabled customer engagement
???? What We’re Looking For (Non-Negotiables)
- Strong track record in capital equipment / project sales, preferably in pharma, biotech, life sciences, or allied industries
- Deep industry network and credibility with senior decision-makers
- Experience scaling sales organizations and driving step-change growth
- Proven exposure to large deal closures and national-level sales leadership
- Structured sales leader with hands-on experience in pipeline management and governance
- Growth-oriented, optimistic leader who can drive change while respecting strong cultural values
- Willingness to be based in Mumbai or a major metro, with extensive travel
