Job Responsibility:
Portfolio & Project Management
The Network Manager role is crucial in taking these projects from the point of identifying an opportunity through to the point of construction and handover to the business.
Provide project management support to Network Development Division (including strategic support, initiation, planning, execution, monitor & control, closure, and budgeting services to the Automotive Division to support the successful implementation of Auto related project developments.
Pre-Approval Phase – Define initial scope and financial resources. Identify internal and external stakeholders. Support development of project charter and Authorisation for Financial Expenditure (AFE) for approval.
Planning & Execution - Define and agree project objectives with key stakeholders/Project Sponsor then communicate with the project team to establish this vision of what will constitute successful accomplishment of the project objective.
Monitor & control – Track, review and regulate progress and performance of the project; identify any areas in which changes to the plan are required; and initiate the corresponding changes.
Closure – Finalise all activities to formally complete the project. Verify that the defined processes are completed to close the project. Obtain acceptance by the customer/sponsor. Ensure quality and delivery of project on time and in budget.
Business Interests & Communication
Develop or provide direction for developing communication plan to ensure executive management and stakeholders receive adequate communication throughout the project and are kept informed of critical path progress and variances from plan, while building a collaborative environment for stakeholders.
Prepares reports to all relevant stakeholders on the status and progress of the company’s portfolio of projects, insights as to key risk areas and mitigants, to ensure timely escalation and support
Risk Management, Governance, Quality
Ensure good project governance is applied to all Automotive projects protecting business interests and ROI.
Respond proactively to potential delays by using judgment to determine risk areas and maintain business issues within the Project Risk Register ensuring identification of issues and actions are logged so that it reduces or eliminates the risk of delay to project objectives.
Ensure Quality at end of every project phase by getting the required sign off from the BU.
Project development and Management
Work with Project Managers and consultant on the Concept, Schematic and Detailed Design phases with stakeholder approval at each stage to design.
Oversee tender pricing negotiations
Oversee the Inspection via the PM team the final works for co-ordination of snagging to ensure BU/Brand standards are met
Support the development of the Network Strategy plan with inputs from the Network on what is required to achieve the group objectives
Immediately escalate to Head of MD / ND Projects any issues which may cause a delay to the project process to amend the timelines expected for delivery
Performance Management & operation excellence
Measure and improve the performance and operational excellence of owner / dealers including cost efficiencies, profitability, and development.
Create and maintain the highest quality retail representation, monitor performance through operational and financial KPIs to enhance the desirability of our products and ensure delivery of customer satisfaction.
Monitor the operational key performance indicators of the dealership and setting the action plans to enhance the end results.Strategic assessment of all franchising activities to ensure the Group only undertake activities with a financially sustainable future, thus safeguarding the Group’s reputation and performance
