Our client is No. 1 medium and heavy-duty truck manufacturer in China and is developing brand new generation commercial vehicle during last 3 years.

Currently we are looking for New energy commercial vehicle development director for Automobile R&D center in Steyer, Austria. Remoted work could be negotiated.

Responsibilities：

• Exploring European market, customer truck-using scenario, regulation, and policy, analyzing requirements and providing inputs for Europe version vehicle development.
• Setting and achieving the development goal of Europe version vehicle.
• Building unique competitiveness of Europe version vehicle.
• Participating in the review of vehicle and system development concept in terms of mechanic, electric, software, performance and attributes, and the definition of development concept, to ensure that products can meet the requirements of European market, customer, regulation, and policy.
• Benchmarking European new energy heavy duty truck.
• Advanced research of innovation technology in new energy commercial vehicle field.
• Defining development timing plan/budget of Europe version vehicle.
• Building and managing local development team (probably 5-person team in 2023)
• Building competence, including work instructions, method, training and workshop.

Requirements:

• Working experience of being commercial vehicle development director in European Tier one automotive company.
• Rich experience of commercial vehicle development and director experience
• Familiar with Europe commercial vehicle validation and customer truck-using scenario.
• Familiar with vehicle development procedure in Europe
• Cross cultural communication skills and capable of working with from zero
• English and German Fluently speaker, Chinese mandarin is a plus
