Salary$43,692 – $101,948 per year + Performance bonusLocationRomaniaIndustryRenewables & EnvironmentJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced New Energy Sales Director to lead the development and expansion of solar and energy storage projects across Romania.This role focuses on building strategic partnerships, developing industrial and commercial energy projects, and driving business growth within the renewable energy sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying opportunities, managing project bids, and securing large-scale energy infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities

Lead business development activities for solar and energy storage solutions in Romania

Identify and develop opportunities with industrial clients, utilities, energy developers, and infrastructure partners

Establish and maintain relationships with EPC contractors, industrial parks, mining companies, and large energy consumers

Manage the full sales cycle including project identification, proposal preparation, bidding, and contract negotiation

Participate in public and private tenders for renewable energy and energy infrastructure projects

Prepare commercial proposals, investment calculations, and financial models for energy projects
-
Work closely with engineering and technical teams to structure competitive project proposals
-
Monitor regulatory developments, local policies, and compliance requirements related to renewable energy projects

Track and manage opportunities through CRM systems and maintain accurate sales forecasts

Represent the company in negotiations with key stakeholders and strategic partners
Candidate Profile
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy, Renewable Energy, or Business-related fields

Minimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy, power infrastructure, or energy project development

Proven experience with solar, energy storage, or industrial energy projects
-
Familiarity with project bidding processes and energy project lifecycle

Strong relationships with utilities, EPC contractors, industrial parks, or energy developers

Experience preparing commercial proposals, investment calculations, and project presentations

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work in an international and cross-cultural environment
Language Requirements

Fluent English

Chinese language is mandatory for coordination with international teams
