NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT PACKAGING TECHNOLOGIST

Tasks&Responsibilities

• develop, implement, and execute creative packaging development activities to achieve project goals
• drive creative structural packaging development considering manufacturing and operational constraints  
• participate in the selection of packaging material and equipment suppliers 
• maintain/develop packaging specifications & packaging safety documentation
• provide technical support and packaging expertise, serves as a point-person to proactively search out packaging solutions that are aligned with brand development and manufacturing strategy
• responsible for performing packaging production qualification trials (materials/vendor selection) as well as shipping and handling tests
• work with quality management to set quality attributes and evaluation procedures for packaging components, ensuring quality by design
• responsible for providing accurate packaging specifications and templates 

Education&Skills

• Diploma in Packaging Technology, Engineering or Design or Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology&Chemistry&Biotechology&Nutrition

Candidate Profile 

• up to 3 years of experience in the food & beverage industry 
• knowledge of food and beverage raw materials, food packaging materials, food additives, and allergens
• curious, an initiative person who enjoys working in a team
