Responsibilities:

Integration of user-facing components with server-side logic
Design, Development, and implementation of scalable and performant backend services handling large quantities of concurrent requests and data.
Writing RESTful APIs to integrate with front-end and back-end systems
User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
Query Optimizations
Passion for building backend technologies that have the power to positively impact millions

Technical Skills:

Hands on experience of NodeJS & related frameworks
Good Understanding of Front-end Development technologies like Javascript, HTML5, CSS etc.
Good knowledge and experience in AWS, Lambda
Should be proficient in writing RESTful APIs
Proficiency level knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL databases for application development
Working knowledge in User Authentication and authorization
Should be thorough with error handling techniques to capture various errors/failures/events

Soft Skills

Excellent teamworking and communication skills
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Prior experience of working in Start-ups and/or challenging environments
Good team player, perform peer code reviews
