This role involves managing nursing staff and ensuring high-quality patient care during evening shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise emergency department nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities.
• Direct professional nursing care for patients in the emergency area.
• Assess, plan, evaluate, and document the nursing process as needed within the department.
• Collaborate with the management team to ensure 24/7 provision of patient care, including conducting patient rounds to gauge care quality and patient satisfaction.
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality improvement programs within the unit.
• Apply lean principles to solve operational issues within and between departments.
• Lead the planning and implementation of educational programs for staff, promoting active staff participation in learning and research initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in nursing, with specific expertise in emergency care.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or charge nurse role within an emergency department setting.
