​​​​Responsibities & Accountabilities:

• Lead and participate in development projects, and be involved in all development-related aspects of the technical operations.
• Handle Odoo change requests and day-to-day issue troubleshooting of Odoo users.
• Collaborating with cross-functional & IT teams to resolve complex issues.
• Develop new modules as required and participate in business testing for the newly released features.
• Analyze, classify, and prioritize tickets based on severity and impact and understand the business areas to take the correct decision across opened tickets.
• Test new functions/modifications to existing application modules in accordance with application support.
• Configuration, installation, and maintenance of server and multi-database Odoo environments.
• Document issues and resolutions in a knowledge base for future reference.
• Keeping different projects/versions under control using SVN or Git and Postman.
• Train users on the Odoo functionalities.
• Other development tasks in systems developed in Python other than Odoo.
• Ability to provide necessary application support relating to various applications, and corporate solutions (ERP, CRM …etc.).

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or equivalent Degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Odoo development, or 2-3 years in Python.

Specialized Expertise & Knowledge:

• Good English reading, writing & speaking skills.
• Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook).
• Excellent understanding of Odoo framework.
• Strong knowledge of Odoo Stack Technologies (i.e. Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Good understanding of Odoo module building and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of database administration.
• Knowledge of Linux operating system.
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies
• Data Analysis and Reporting.
• Techno-functional expertise.
• Good knowledge of supporting any of ERP systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Odoo Technical Certification or Odoo Functional Certification will be an advantage.
