Job Description
- 4 -7 years of experience in IBM Sterling OMS development
- Has a long-term vision in terms of business value to the customer, has the ability to understand and drive the problems that must be solved for the final goal to be realized
- Superior understanding of concepts and tools, able how to apply them, recommends and drives concepts and tools, including; Serve as IBM Sterling Omni channel and OMS subject matter expert working with the various business owner to architect the 'best-fit' customer use cases across multiple enterprise channels
- Expert in Java, XML, JSON, Rest API’s, webservices
- Designs and/or develops the asynchronous and synchronous integration process
- Understanding of micro services & exposing it to various platforms securely
- TDD (Test Driven Development), Unit Testing
- Agile –Scrum or Kanban development methodology
- Experience in mentoring junior developers
- Creating / maintaining documentation for architecture
- Owns functional area/feature(s) development/implementation, design, solution, arch., etc.
- Able to take on the most complex tasks and problem-solving efforts
- Deep understanding across business domains, thinks in terms of the wholebusiness
- Has system and business domain oversight
- Alerts the solution architect of potential design issues and elevates blocker issues up for resolution
- Does code reviews of any customization and ensures completion of use cases by the development team.
- Maintains the master configuration data, CDT process and manages the UCD deployment.
- Expertise in IBM OMS build and deployment process
