Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:-  

• Responsible for all manufacturing activities by assigning work, implementing policies and procedures, and recommending improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.
• Responsible for planning, organizing and managing the manufacturing functions in line with internal and external customer needs consisting of: the shop floor operations, production control, inventory accuracy, manufacturing, plant, machinery and equipment maintenance, KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators), shipping, implementing Lean Manufacturing concepts and facilities management.

• Production:-
  • Meet Operational Performance KPI’S: OEE, Adherence to production plan, 4M Utilization, WIP inventory management, meeting labor budget expectations.  
  • Responsible for inventory accuracy by managing the accurate transaction recording of manufacturing production and scrap within the plant.
  • Implement internal global standards and customer standards in Plant. Assure conformance to Company policies and procedure in Plant. Complete audits and ensure effective closure of findings.
  • Lead and implement production improvements using Lean Manufacturing concepts; 5’S, Visual Management, Kaizens, Quality Circles, Kanban, My machine etc.
  • Contribution to On-time Shipments to customer through advance planning, coordinate production, materials, and equipment.
  • Responsible for upgrading the manufacturing personnel resources through training, communication of performance targets and follow-up to determine actual performance.

• Process Engineering:-
  • Resolve the process related issues related to quality of product and or process efficiency
  • Design and modify fixtures for process and product change implementation
  • Analyze process workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout; implement changes.
  • Lead on key cycle time and productivity improvement projects.

• Maintenance
  • Analyze and resolve machine related issues and maintain machine availability to support productivity of assembly lines
  • Analyze machine breakdown Trends (MTTR/MTBF), potential risks and continuous improvement in Preventive Maintenance Plans and schedules.

• Upgrade the Operational improvement knowledge and impart the training to employees or conduct workshop to improve the manufacturing process and quality of product
• Forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; Communicate all operating policies and/or issues at department meetings.
