1. Job Breif :
Operations manager is in charge of leading operation in line of business, which involves making important policy and strategic decisions, as well as the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures. He / She is also responsible for organizing, coordinating and overseeing day to day operations to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. The manager will primarily support and implement the requests of the Director, acting as the key link between the Director and the staff. He/ she must establish and maintain close working relationships with other departments in an effort to anticipate and meet the needs and desires of the department.
2. Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversees and manages the day to day Operations of the departments
- Evaluating Hoem Healthcare clinical and non-clinical services and employees
- Preparing Home Healthcare budget and budget monitoring system with Home Healthcare Director
- Establishing and maintaining effective channels of communication within the institution
- Aiding developing the 5-year growth plan for the Home Healthcare department
- Setting and monitoring Operational Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Review goals and KPIs
- Review staffing requirements, workforce plans
- Assisting in recruiting qualified personnel in all Home Healthcare areas
- Optimizing workflow and ensure safe service delivery
- Assisting staff development, including orientation, in-service education, and continuing education
- Attending and present at the leadership meetings and committees within the institution
- Directing Home Healthcare staff in their duties, including admission, discharge, and provision of Service to the patient
- Addressing Staff concerns and queries in their respective areas of responsibility.
- Assruing appropriate staff supervision during all service hours.
- Generating new leads and business lines for Home Helathcare.
- Backing intradepartmental research and medical education projects.
- Be business-oriented, apply cost benefit analysis in services provided.
- Coordinates the work and activities of staff, monitors and controls resources and communicates with superiors, peers or subordinates.
- Provide inspired leadership for the organization.
- Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures
- Coordinates workflow to ensure projects have enough coverage and are running efficiently.
- Serves as point of contact for any Operations management issues.
- Develops,implements,and monitors the short-term and long-term goals and objectives of the department keeping within budgetary guidelines.
- Responsible for evaluating Non Clinical staff Appraisals, Competency and trainings if required
- Promotes continuous quality improvement and evaluates the effectiveness of systems utilizing findings to improve performance.
- Prepares reports and recommendations on current activities and performances, accomplishments, problems, and on future community needs.
- Prepares the annual department budgets, supplementary budgets, and special purchase requests.
- Works with other administrative staff members in setting requirement priorities.
- Demonstrates a team work ethic, working with and sharing knowledge and experience with colleagues.
- Demonstrates a proactive approach to working practices
- Communicates professionally with colleagues
- Remains confidential and demonstrate discretion at all times
- Processes instructions accurately and within timescales set by the Director.
- Replacing Home HealthCare Director during leaves and whenever required.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned by Home Healthcare Director.
