On behalf of a well-established and internationally structured company, a leader in the bottled water sector, we are looking for an experienced Operations Director.

Reporting directly to the company’s top management, the Operations Director will oversee all operational activities at the production site. He/she will be responsible for leading the plant’s functions including production, maintenance, engineering, and quality, with the aim of ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with safety and quality standards, and achievement of business and production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all plant operations (production, maintenance, quality, HSE)
• Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and safety
• Work closely with central functions to implement industrial strategies, investment projects, and technological innovation.
• Ensure achievement of operational KPIs (OEE, costs, waste, energy and consumption)
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health & safety, and quality regulations
• Manage the plant’s operational budget and identify opportunities for cost Optimization
• Act as a change agent by introducing modern manufacturing practices (e.g., Lean,
• TPM, WCM) and supporting the transition to a more agile and accountable operational culture
• Lead transformation and efficiency projects, including automation, process digitalization, and the introduction of data-driven decision-making tools (MES, real-time analytics)
• Collaborate with the leadership team to build managerial capabilities within operations and support talent development and succession planning
• Benchmark and adopt best practices in order to raise performance standards
• Support ESG and sustainability goals by optimizing resource usage and reducing the plant’s environmental footprint

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in senior roles within structured manufacturing environments, ideally in the beverage or FMCG sector
• Proven track record in plant management and cross-functional team leadership
• Strong knowledge of food production processes and quality control systems
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and performance-driven mindset
• Fluency in English and/or Albanian
• Experience in managing operational transformation and leading teams through cultural change is desirable
