For a hotel in Malpensa Airport area, we are currently recruiting for a

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Energetic multitasker who leads from the front to maintains a smooth hotel operation and inspires their team to overdeliver for guests by working hard and having fun. Maintains high standards for our guests, has an eye for detail, as well as a sound business understanding. Builds relationships with key partners and welcomes activity into the hotel by bringing the hotel brand to life creating a fun and relaxed environment that makes guests feel at home.

Main Tasks and responsibilities

• Supports the manager in all aspects of the management of the hotel
• Customer service, guest relations and creating positive guest experiences
• Recruits and develops a team that delivers excellent service
• Ensure a profitable hotel operation in line with company goals
• Manage the team effectively and enforce company policies
• Actively involved in the day-to-day tasks of the team
• Managing Food & Beverage outlets
• Manage hotel room inventory and checking guests in/out
• Follow all food safety, licensing and health and safety policies to work safely
• Promote and support the brand and the hotel loyalty program

We’re looking for:

• Must have minimum 2 years team management experience in hotel industry (room division or F&B department)
• Knowledge of the main property management systems (preferably Opera)
• Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws
• Fluent in Italian and English (and other languages a plus!)
• Have high energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude
• Good with people and enjoy chatting with guests
• Skilled multitasker who can balance hard work with great service
