Our Client is a multinational brand with over 350 stores, a specialized network in health and beauty, offering high-quality products and services at highly competitive prices. They are market leader in several East & Central Europe markets and now looking to expand to Romania.
The initial stores will be launched in Bucharest then expand quicly to the rest of Romania.
Scope of the role is to hire a great Retail Area Manager (ideally from the area of cosmetics, health products, clothing but we wellcome applicants from hypermarkets operations too or even from FMCG) someone who is already experienced in managing multiple stores of average min 3-10 people per store, who can show great KPI achievements and a storng motivation for pioneering such a new project.
Responsibilities:
Operations:
- Responsible for sales budget, implementation possible solutions increasing the value of sales and participates in setting sales targets for the stores
- Responsible for the implementation of operational goals (sales, losses, contribution) in the subordinate area through the ongoing analysis of results, reports, draw conclusions and prepares action plan to increase sales and reduce costs.
- Supervises the operation of subordinate stores through regular visits, assessment of work organization, visual condition of the stores in accordance with the applicable company standards.
- Participates in the process of opening new stores by preparing newly hired staff, participating in the stocking process and preparing the store for opening, supporting the customer service process on the opening day of the store.
- Responsible for maintaining the proper condition of the store and its surroundings in terms of safety, hygiene, technical and visual aspects.
- Responsible for the operating result during the opening by selecting products for the opening folder, estimating the quantity, recommending the scope and form of the event action and setting the date of stocking up.
Assortment Management:
- Ensures proper exposure of the assortment based on the applicable layout rules, planograms, adherence to the rules of merchandising, ensuring proper price markings by following the information from the weekly report.
- Monitors assortment trends development on the market, provides regular feedback and recommending new assortment proposals.
Marketing:
- Proactively tracks changes in the business environment, industry as well as market trends and practices on the market.
- Participates in macro and promo plan creation and monitors macroplan realization.
E-Commerce:
- Closely cooperates with E-Commerce Team through regular omnichannel market monitoring, increasing sales via e-Commerce channel and providing regular feedback in terms of market and customer needs.
Customer Experience:
- Provides and supervises professional customer service in accordance with the applicable standards by providing professional advice and consultations based on the client's needs.
- Takes care to ensure the high quality of the services offered through the availability of professional personnel.
Logistics & Supply Chain:
- Cooperates with Logistics and Supply chain through regular stock management and supervise the E-Commerce order picking process.
- Monitors correctness of runed stocktaking and takes actions in order to optimize losses.
- Responsible for accepting the delivery and unloading in accordance with the adopted rules.
