OPERATIONS MANAGER
 
Are you a proactive and results-orientated professional with a passion for optimizing logistics and supply chain operations?  In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless management of warehousing and distribution operations, driving supplier relationships and achieving KPIs while maintaining cost controls and profitability.
 
What you’ll do: 

• Management and coordination of 3PL logistics partner to deliver SLAs and KPIs within budget while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Be the focal point of contact between the business and its 3PL partner
• Ensure a smooth flow of goods through the warehouse, collaborating closely with the 3PL partner on forecast and capacity planning.
• Drive operational efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with the 3PL partner to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Review weekly and monthly P&L statements, actively challenging costs when necessary.
• Compile business reports and present data to cross-functional teams and Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
• Managing the dispute resolution procedure – ensure issues and resolutions are clearly communicated and effectively resolved
• Analyse, assess and interpret performance data

Experience & Skills required:
  Proven experience in logistics management, ideally gained within a third party logistics environment

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operational procedures, processes and best practice.
• Experience and proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven decision-making approach.
• Excellent level of attention to detail
• Able to develop strong working relationships with third parties enabling high levels of service through partnership
• Commercially focused, target orientated.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver results
