Job Description
Our client has a smaller design and manufacturing site in Budapest (30 FTE). They are looking for an Operations Manager, who supports the GM closely by workflow stability.
Responsibilities:
- Manage departmental coordination across logistics, finance, and manufacturing.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring service expectations are met and exceeded.
- Initiate and supervise IT related improvement projects (such as ERP implementation).
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Review and supervise all agreements, NDA, suppliers, subcontractors, etc.
- Liaise with external contractors, including insurance providers, shipping companies, bank, office suppliers, etc.
- Assist with hiring of new staff as required.
- Establish and manage the supply chain for the office including everything from hardware, furniture to daily kitchen supplies and stationery.
- Design and execute a variety of events, including team building events, holiday parties etc;
- Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with cleaning services, security, catering, and maintenance providers
- Manage the office operations budget, tracking expenses and identifying opportunities for cost-saving without compromising.
Requirements:
- University Degree is required.
- 5–8+ years in office management or business operations. Manufacturing environment is preferred
- Experience in managing a small team.
- Strong organizational, contract, and stakeholder management skills; excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency with Microsoft and procurement/ERP.
- Fluent in English and Hungarian language.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
