Our client, who are a large media and entertainment corporation. are currently recruiting for a Operations Service Manager. You will apart of the Operational Service Management group, which is overall responsible for defining, monitoring, reporting, planning and triaging the status and progression of content though the delivery pipeline processes for their streaming platform. The Operational Service Management function sits within the Global Content Operations group.
You will be the main point of contact for their business partners and customers (programming, planning and scheduling, editorial) You will be proactive in planning and comms, setting and reporting on end to end content delivery KPI's, using data, systems and KPI's to inform actions for the constituent teams with the goal of ensuring library, premier and global Day and Date shows arrive at platform on time to the agreed editorial quality and standards.
This is a 12 month contract, however this could go permanent for the right candidate. They are flexible with hyrbid working and office is based in central London.
Operations Service Manager Responsibilities:
- Setting, communicating and measuring KPI's across their content pipeline
- Take the lead on resolving issues with content delivery through proactive monitoring, raising tickets and coordinating resolutions across the teams.
- Abiltity to work across multiple time zones and therefore have responsibility to ensure that the business is informed and when incidents or proactive actions to meet content milestones are needed. Sometimes required out of the local office working hours.
- Using KPI's and data to support the planning and communication of content delivery timelines and readiness to their partner teams
- Point of liaison between their operations functions, clients/partners and supporting technical teams for tracking content delivery against agreed plans and for resolving queries and triaging issues related to end-to-end content delivery to the platform.
Operations Service Manager minimum experience required:
- Delivery of business change and improvement projects
- Operational prioritisation skills
- Resource and capacity planning
- Excellent planning and verbal, written, presentational communication skills
- Demonstrated understanding of business process analys
- Very familiar with Excel, Smartsheets, Google docs or similar online collaboration and data tools
- Leadership to drive change and influence others
