The Product Manager reports to the Director of Marketing and is responsible for the performance of the OTC & Rx product portfolio.The Product Manager and Marketing Manager have specific responsibilities for the assigned product portfolio.
Product Manager objectives include: - supporting the development of the product portfolio,
- successful launch of new products, creating and adapting the marketing strategy for the current portfolio,
- realization of marketing actions and maintaining relationships with opinion leaders.
- performs market analysis and provides feedback to headquarters to
support product portfolio development.
The OTC&Rx PM:
- works with the Business Development Manager to create a Business Plan for new products and coordinates the process of launching new products in Romania.
- proposes the launch strategy and necessary actions for new products and is responsible for preparing promotional materials and obtaining necessary approvals.
- prepares marketing and strategic plans, proposes product modifications, and
ensures promotional materials availability. - selects media forms, plans advertising campaigns, and communicates marketing messages to the medical promotion team.
- maintains relationships with opinion leaders, invites them to conferences, supports Medical Representatives with product questions, and organizes symposia and participation in congresses.
- Preparation of marketing plans (1 year) and strategic plans (5 years),
with a particular focus on deadlines. - Proposes any product modification (line extension, packaging modifications, etc.) that may
benefit the image of the product for which he is responsible and ensures that he has the support of all departments involved in this initiative. - Ensuring the availability of promotional materials
The required qualifications for this position include:
- a higher education degree
- minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Ability to work proactively and adapt to organizational requirements.
- skills in planning and organizing activities.
- flexibility, team spirit, communication skills
- very good knowledge of PC operation
and the English language - a driving license category B with
travel availability. (Car will be offered upon employment)
