A global manufacturing company based in Bracknell are looking for a Pan-European Reporting Expert to join their Pan-E Accounting and Controlling Department delivering the management and consolidated reporting activities for Europe.
Event Planning
Own the creation and building of the Pan-E Actuals events timetables with considerations to all stakeholders involved, planning key milestones and deadlines.
Responsible for ensuring that Hyperion Planning (HP) and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) are reconciled and set up for Pan-E Actuals events.
Responsible for ensuring HP & HFM is updated with the correct exchange rate and performing reconciliation to ensure the same rates are used across systems.
Work closely with the FPC, to oversee the monthly completion of smoke testing of the Oracle Hyperion System and other tasks to ensure successful completion of the Pan-E Actuals events.
Month End Reporting
Oversee the Pan-E Actuals reporting and support the Finance teams across the entities to ensure reporting deadlines are met.
Initial review of BOFC (Finance reporting process) submissions, coordinate and ensure necessary corrections are made within deadlines.
Ensure data integrity throughout the systems (SAP > HP > HFM > BOFC). Fully investigate variances in information and manage the remediation process, providing full support to Pan-E entities where required
Year-End Reporting
Manage the update, distribution, and collation of the completed year-end IFRS workbooks for all Pan-E entities and provide support for completion where required.
Oversee the statutory financial statements preparation process and work with the external professionals supporting this process.
Manage the annual SOX and Financial Audits on a Pan-E level.
Pan-E Accounting
Develop a Pan-E accounting review process to support discussions on data quality and best practices throughout the region.
Drive increased transparency, understanding and alignment of reporting requirements on a Pan-E basis.
Monitor compliance with accounting policies to ensure consistency within the region. Facilitate improvements in compliance and escalate lack of compliance to HME Senior Management, where necessary.
Keep up to date on regulatory changes including IFRS standards and advise key stakeholders as required
Continuous Improvement
Continuous improvement of the financial statements preparation process, recommend and implement improvements to drive accuracy and efficiency in the process.
Identify and deliver continuous improvement for all Pan-E close processes, reports, and reconciliations.
