Role Overview

A leading law firm is looking to hire a Partner to join its Corporate practice. The role involves advising domestic and international clients on complex corporate transactions and driving growth for the practice through client development and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and executing domestic and cross-border M&A transactions
• Advising on private equity and venture capital investments, exits, and structured deals
• Handling joint ventures, strategic alliances, corporate restructurings, and general corporate advisory
• Advising clients on transaction structuring, negotiation strategy, and risk management
• Managing end-to-end transaction execution including due diligence, documentation, and closing
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships with corporates, founders, and investment funds
• Contributing to business development and practice growth initiatives
• Supervising and mentoring associates and managing deal teams

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 10+ years PQE (flexible based on profile)
• Strong background in M&A / PE transactions with demonstrated execution capabilities
• Ability to manage transactions independently and lead teams
• Client-facing experience with strong commercial judgement
• Portable book of business preferred (not mandatory depending on the platform and role)
• Prior experience with a top-tier law firm or reputed boutique preferred
