Hiring for a sales leader selling digital banking / mobile banking solutions through own efforts combined with channel partners (SI / GSI) and resellers / VARs for a leading digital banking service provider.

Role details:
- Title / Designation: Director - Strategic Alliances and Partnerships
- Reporting to: CEO
- Location: Chennai – Hybrid
Role & responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and cultivate strategic partnerships that align with the company's objectives and drive sales of our banking products.
- Conduct thorough research on prospective partners, engage proactively through multiple channels (cold calls, emails, in-person meetings), and lead negotiations to finalize mutually beneficial agreements within company guidelines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact, fostering positive relationships and representing our brand professionally. Provide ongoing support, resources, and collaborate with partners to integrate their feedback into product enhancements that ensure their success and satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with senior management, marketing, and product development teams to align internal and external goals.
- Strategically promote our banking products through co-created content, lead generation activities, event collaborations, and other innovative initiatives with partners.
- Continuously monitor partnership performance using comprehensive data analysis and reporting.
- Leverage industry trends and competitive intelligence to identify emerging opportunities and shape the long-term vision for expanding and optimizing our partner ecosystem.
Candidate requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Outreach and Partnerships Management, with a proven track record of successfully identifying, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders across all levels.
- Strategic mindset to analyze market trends, identify partnership opportunities, and develop actionable plans to capitalize on them.
- Results-oriented focus on driving measurable outcomes, exceeding targets and key performance indicators.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while seamlessly managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate partnership performance and optimize for maximum impact.
