Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and oversee all aspects of the payroll process, ensuring compliance with local tax laws, government regulations, and internal policies.
- Coordinate to implement and streamline payroll processes and systems for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of detailed reports on payroll matters to HR management and accounting for review.
- Manage and resolve complex payroll issues and provide support to employees regarding payroll inquiries.
- Liaise with external auditors and manage payroll tax audits.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of payroll transactions.
- Stay current with payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Provide training to the payroll team on new or updated payroll processes and technologies.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for payroll processing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)) is preferred.
- 8 – 10 years of experience in payroll management, with a comprehensive understanding of the Saudi payroll system and legal requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in both English and Arabic.
- Proficient in payroll software and with a good understanding of HRIS systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
