Parkside Recruitment are currently partnering with a rapidly growing Accounting Firm for the appointment of a Payroll Specialist.
You will ideally have 2 years experience in a similar position and be eager to progress your career into a fast paced role. The role is fully working from home but you must be able to travel into the office when required.
Responsibilities:
- Managing starters and leavers
- Updating tax codes and other employee information
- Preparing and filing FPS and EPS submissions
- Calculating statutory deductions, Holiday entitlements and other pay elements
- Liaising with clients directly around payroll queries
- Checking pension calculations and reporting pension information to pension providers
- Completing payroll year end processes including P60 provision
- Preparing and submitting P11d's
- Creating payroll journals and reconciling accounts
Skills and Experience:
- At least 3 years payroll experience
- Able to work under pressure
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be prepared to go that extra mile when needed
- Confident and clear communicator who can communicate at all levels
