Job Brief: 

Plan, Direct and Organize an end-to-end plan for the Supply Chain items by analyzing, evaluating and creating demand and supply orders using analytical, statistical, and optimization techniques to ensure stock availability of the right products at the right time. Accountable for planning of both medical and non-medical items.

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Develop long-term strategic plans for supply chain operations enabling initiatives that meet the future needs of the organization.
• Establish standards for lead time and demand to ensure that the program procurement activities are aligned with warehousing and consumption.
• Maintain monthly Supply Chain performance analysis and provide root cause corrective actions.
• Lead Cross Functional teams to develop a robust suite of reporting and planning tools.
• Monitor external environment and internal trends, practices and utilization to remain current with sourcing and logistics procedures and systems.
• Lead inter-departmental task forces charged with improving Supply Chain Management.
• Encourage innovation; seek out and implement best in class approaches.
• Handle escalations regarding supplier issues.
• Forecast strategy for supplier’s capacity based on the needs of the organization.
• Initiate and participate in Lean activities with suppliers.
• Ensure all forecasting activities associated with the analysis of customer demand are completed in a timely manner on a monthly basis.
• Review historical consumption trends and identify demand drivers.
• Analyze forecast accuracy data metrics and drive appropriate discussions to improve data.
• Provide a link between Sales and Operational / Supplier planning from both ends of the supply chain.
• Deliver weekly KPI's to show customer delivery performance and forecast accuracy.
• Assist in continuous improvements of Logistics systems to ensure all KPI's are performing in line with Plant specific targets.
• Develop & deliver integrated processes to achieve optimal supply chain performance through the relevant sector supply chains.
• Ensure compliance with the Company's Supply Chain/Logistics Policies and standards.
• Oversee Supply Chain Analyst team to optimize procurement strategies.
• To apply and adhere to all Quality Improvement and Patient Safety policies, procedures and accreditation standards.

Educational/Professional Qualifications:

Educational:    Bachelor’s degree in Business or any other equivalent field from recognized college.   

Professional:   Minimum of 8 years of experience in planning and forecasting of supply chain requirements and consumption; management of materials planning and procurement of supplies and inventory; and monitor performance of suppliers and trends impacting supply chain or forecasting requirements, preferably in health care industry.
